Why Choose Autumn Sown Bumble bird?

The inclusion of legumes and wildflowers provides a valuable nectar source for pollinators, while cereal and brassica species produce a reliable feed supply for farmland birds through the winter and into early spring.

The Autumn Sown Bumblebird option can be a helpful tool for growers struggling to get spring sown success and/or work load issues (but very rarely offers much cover or feed value in the first winter of establishment). It can also aid overall farmland habitats by providing nesting, brood rearing and over winter cover for wild song birds, game birds, pollinators & other mammals, such as the brown hare. Due thought and attention should be given to location and rotation to aid with weed control. Marc Bull Technical Sales
