BN11 Planting New Hedges – Plants  bundle has been formulated to meet the requirements of the BN11 Countryside Stewardship government grant. This mix includes a carefully selected range of native hedge species.

• Dog Rose

This bundle includes plants only and provides the required 6 plants per metre planting rate to meet BN11 specifications.

Key Points

• Planting season: All work must be carried out between November and March

• Ground preparation: Prepare the ground to ensure optimal oil conditions for establishment

• Vegetation control: Ensure minimal competition from surrounding vegetation

Planting Requirements

• 2 staggered rows, 40cm apart
• Minimum of 6 plants per metre
• Species mix: Native species only, with no single species exceeding 70% of the total mix.
