At Bright Seeds our BN11 | Bundle | Plants – Plastic Guard & Cane bundle has been formulated to meet the requirements of the Countryside Stewardship new hedges grant. This bundle includes a carefully selected range of native hedge species as well as providing plastic guards and canes to fulfil the requirements of your meterage.

This bundle includes plants, guards and canes and provides the required 6 plants per metre planting rate to meet the grant specifications.

Key Points

• Planting season: All work must be carried out between November and March

• Ground preparation: Prepare the ground to ensure optimal oil conditions for establishment

• Vegetation control: Ensure minimal competition from surrounding vegetation

Planting Requirements

• 2 staggered rows, 40cm apart
• Minimum of 6 plants per metre
• Species mix: Native species only, with no single species exceeding 70% of the total mix.
