Nectar Flower habitat is a multifunctional option for farmers, keepers & conservationists. It is vital for helping to support declining populations of pollinators, wild birds & mammals whilst providing great PR as they are very aesthetically pleasing when in flower. From a farming point of view, it is a financially rewarding option within Stewardship and SFI that can be rotational or fixed to suit the grower. It can be used as a short or long-term green manure crop to aid within arable rotations, it will enhance soil health and fertility and can also be useful for reducing weed burdens.
