David Bright

David has over 40 years experience as a seedsman and is highly regarded by plant breeders around the world. He is an active member of the Maize Growers Association and his unique knowledge of maize and game cover crops makes him one of the leading experts in his field.

 

Sue Bright

Sue comes from a family with a long farming history. Sue runs the company accounts and also is responsible for organising the stands at many of the trade shows where we exhibit.

 

Chris Bright

Chris has now been with us for almost 10 years. An accomplished advisor for gamecover, stewardship, wild flowers and both amenity and agricultural grasses, Chris is also an enthusiastic country sportsman. He runs our west country subsiduary Elliott & Bright, and is closely involved with RSPB, FWAG and GCT conservation projects and research.

 

Michael Bearman

Michael has combined his passion for shooting and 40 years experience as a Unilever arable specialist as our representative in the Midlands and East Anglia. If you live in this area and need advice then please call him - he is extremely knowledgeable.

 

Laura Veal

Laura Veal (replaced Bex who has started a family) lives locally, a keen sportswoman, has her own horse and at one stage ran a stable yard so is well able to organise the office! She has a good knowledge of agriculture and is a real asset to the business.

 

Steve Snape

Steve has been with the company for 7 years. He was previously a game keeper for 15 years, 10 of which where in France so he speaks fluent French.

He looks after sales of gamecover in France/Belgium and the south of England.

Steve also manages our Carta Carna pheasant food sales via BOCM Pauls as well as the Easykeep Groundmix range including Easykeep Liquid.

 

Chris Batchelor

Chris is our consultant agronomist and is well regarded in his field. He is an expert when it comes to using sprays on game cover crops.

 

Murray Dalton

Murray has been farming the family arable farm for over 30 years. He hosts the syndicate shoot on his farm and does all the drilling and maintence to the game cover crops. Murray is BASIS and FACTS qualified and attends to our customers in the home counties.

 

Richard Leach

Richard joined Bright Seeds in 2010 was previously self employed for nearly 20 years in the marketing and sales of seed and compound feed. Other projects in this period included the marketing of ready to cook game meals through Waitrose, an arable farm tenancy for some years and taking several innovative products from conception to market.

Directly involved in creating Bright's own range of game feed - 4 Plan Game feed - 4 rations formulated to a high specification fed within a straightforward feeding plan and supplied to friends and contacts known over a great many years.

His customer base for game cover has been rising steadily coupled with increased expertise and knowledge of growing forage maize has led to sales into many leading dairy farmers throughout the south and west of England.

Richard has a wealth of experience in agriculture and a strong loyal farmer/keeper following. Living near Sherborne in Dorset he is keen to integrate into the local farming and shooting community.

He is already proving to be a great asset.
