Colourful flowering legumes and low maintenance grasses to provide a source of feed for butterflies, bumblebees and other insects.
With grass: 20% Smooth stalked meadow grass, 20% Red fescue, 20% Sheeps fescue, 20% Meadow fescue, 5% Late flowering red clover, 7% Common sainfoin, 4% Common vetch, 4% Birdsfoot trefoil.
Suggested sowing rate of 18-20kg/ha (7-8kg/acre).
Without grass: 30% Common vetch, 20% Common sainfoin, 15% Alsike clover, 12.5% Late flowering red clover, 12.5% Birdsfoot trefoil, 7.5% Black medick, 2.5% Black knapweed.
Suggested sowing rate of 10kg/ha (4kg/acre).
