A few simple actions, like planting flower rich margins, can improve things greatly for this valuable friend of the farmer, gardener and the environment.
Our bumblebee mix will give a loverly show of colour all summer, and will be alive with bugs, beasties and bumblebees. It is made up of phacelia, borage, red clover and birdsfoot trefoil. It should last 4 years, as phacelia and borage re-seed themselves.
Suggested sowing rate is 12kg/ha (5kg/acre).
